De facto certificates for terminals for the acquisition of domestic debit transactions following the Bancontact/MisterCash scheme or devices enabling Proton transactions

 

Some BC/MC and Proton terminals  were on the market before that EPCI was activated, They received a de facto certificate. These terminals will be gradually phased out.

Terminals for the acquisition of credit card  transactions following the mag-stripe on-line (CC OL) and semi-on-line (CC SOL) specifications and acquired by either Bank Card Company, euroConex Belgium or Europabank, for American Express by Alphacard and by JCB International 

 

Some  terminals  were on the market before acquirers outsourced the certification to EPCI.  They received a de facto certificate.These terminals will be gradually phased out

 

 

December 11th 2003:

The WHICH terminals (previously Monétel - now Sagem-Ascom) have been taken over by BTG Europe.
