Preparing for the EMV migration

Important Note

Certificates are contractual documents between terminal vendors and EPCI. This page only represents a list of certificates and it is possible that not all certificates are included in this list. The final proof is the certificate itself.

Semi-on-line terminals shall not process extra's

We strongly recommend the merchant to daily monitor the automatic upload of transactions and to initiate a manual upload when required.

These terminals should always be kept under power and portable devices kept well charged, as transaction loss has been observed after a power failure.

Terminals for the acquisition of credit card transactions following the mag-stripe on-line specifications of Europabank and presently only certified for acquiring by Europabank

The Dutch company Internet Networking Group b.v. (also known as Think-ING) ceased to operate. There are presently no certified terminals available on the market.

Notice for merchants still using such a terminal:
This service is discontinued as of April 22nd 2004 5:00.

No transactions will be processed after that date.

Important

Upon decision of the acquirers, only EPCI certified terminals can be used for capturing credit card transactions.
